Mentathletics is the world derived by Child’s Intellectual Academy Pvt. Ltd. from the words- “mental” and “athletics”. Mental calculation comprises arithmetical calculations using only the human brain, with no help from calculators, computers, or pen and paper. People use mental calculation when computing tools are not available, when it is faster than other means of calculation. Mental calculation often involves the use of specific techniques devised for specific types of problems. We have modulated all the complex methods for speed calculations in the simplest ways, keeping the interest of kids in mind. Memory Boosters (Memorization Activities)

Techniques for training memory are discussed as far back as Ancient Greece, and formal memory training was long considered an important part of basic education known Memory sport, sometimes referred to as competitive memory or the mind sport of memory where the attempt to memorize the most information that they can then present back, under certain guidelines. Somehow in recent times educational systems focus only on the syllabus and not methods of mastering the syllabus through memorization. Our brain capacity is a lot more than we think it is. Rubik’s Cube

Learn the art of solving the Rubik’s Cube regularly and even blindfolded. Studies have shown that engaging in mental activity through games and puzzles like the Rubik’s Cube can help keep the mind sharp in even till you turn old. Just as regular physical exercise helps the body, regular mental exercise has benefits for the mind. It’s beneficial to the maintenance of short-term memory, eye-hand co-ordination and general concentration. The Rubik’s Cube is a puzzle of its kind which you might not be able to solve for days. We teach you to solve it in minutes and then seconds.


Chess has always had an image problem, being seen as a game for brainiacs and people with already high IQs. So there has been a bit of a chicken-and-egg situation: do smart people gravitate towards chess, or does playing chess make them smart? At least one study has shown that moving those knights and rooks around can in fact raise a person's intelligence quotient. A study of 4,000 Venezuelan students produced significant rises in the IQ scores of both boys and girls after 4 months of chess instruction.
